The last week was again a make-over of sorts, this time its my man's turn to look for a new shape, and then he wanted the skin that goes with it, and a new set of wardrobe. It all started I guess when he lost his new hair in his inventory. I forgot its name though I remember I helped him pick it up. Boy, some shopping we did. In one time I teleported a mutual friend over to get another impression. While we're at it I saw a beautiful scarf hair worn by the shop's model. You bet i got one, and while I'm at it, the clothes she was wearing as well! So that while we shop I look like the model on the wall materialized before your own virtual eyes!

It's not the usual hello from a name I haven't seen before. He called me by my name so I am not mistaken that he was referring to me. It went on while I was offline, so I decided to come inworld and look up his profile. He was around since October last year. Hmm, who this might be? A couple of lost friends come to mind, a few dear ones had been lost and maybe this is one of them, or maybe just a new stranger..
He reincarnated alright. Now he is looking for his old friends, and true enough he asked about his old girlfriend, if we still hang around. He seems happy in his new make-over, the hair is very becoming, but ugh the fangs are out. Yes, he is now a vampire. I told him that my friend will be very delighted to hear that he is back, and I wish him luck.
I've had good times with the man who died, being around with friends gathered and enjoyed inworld. The old name even sound better, but then, that is life, here in SL we can end or always begin a new one.

Oh, another weekend and once again time to catch up, one hour time-zone away in the real time. For this we settled in the old familiar tent found at Kalepa, its oriental music alluring in the magical LCD of our screens.
I like assuming the male pose ball. Whenever I get the chance, I like trying them, how I'd look in one, and liking what I see. It more or less reflects the real me. I'm not saying that my man would like the female pose ball better. But the chance to swap one's common gestures, and not be challenged by it, is comforting, and like the rhythm swaying on this place, I found captivating.

In the game of second life, there will always be great friends, awesome lovers, winners and losers on the side, and lastly, there will be the one.
And for me, he will always be the one.
And oh yes, the other day I had a great time spanking some old butts, I seldom see these two dear friends these days, and we had some laughs on top of a hill, in one of my favorite places.

The other day I decided to hang out in outerspace. Notices before tend to advice that the sim usually fills up to the brim, and to come early to ensure a "good" seat, especially if it is a light or fire show.
Good enough, only Earth P was there, the Inspire creator, lounging out all by himself. Tonight the brilliant Voicedude Reinoir will be playing new age on the piano. What a remarkable man! Never had a more relaxed-by-the-fireside kind of feeling in all of the concerts i had in a long time. He likes to connect in between sets, and we easily glide along in one full hour. I changed my tag from Lovely (thanks Shayla for the add) to Sr Land Manager, as I had an IM and thought I'd be called away, and when he sees it, he easily plugged for me asking everyone if they had a need for land. He does voice-overs even in RL, and I can see him floating, like where we were now, in space, all his easy life.
I spent the rest of the day in a buoyant mode.
I usually get on SL on weekdays at past 3pm, and stay till 12 midnight PDT, or SL Time. Today I have a notice from the dock that SL had a rolling restart. All avatars were logged off at the same time from the grid. Hope that will fix all the pressing lags, and give the virtual world a semblance of normality.
A rolling restart, whoaa.. Do I need one myself?
I've been working in the real estate business for some months now, and at RGF Estates I started out as a land broker. Today when i came on SL I rose from land manager to Senior Land Manager. I used to log in 20 hours on the dock, and now I wonder what's gonna fall more on my oiled, skinny, business-suit covered lap..
There will be more voice conversations/meetings via skype, I could spend less time selling land and more time on training new applicants, fixing up tenants looking for their tier boxes, boundary griefers, or stuff like that.
Indeed, a new year on SL ~
